The majority of Exhibitions in Europe feature standard shell scheme structures supplied by manufacturers such as Octanorm, Sodem and Modul.
These shell scheme structures are used by tens of thousands of organisations worldwide as the basis of their exhibition stands.
At a typical show there will be row upon row upon row of shell schemes, all looking exactly the same, and it is your task to make your shell scheme stand out from those around you.
However, when you book a shell scheme at an exhibition you are governed by very strict rules regarding the maintenance of the stand, typically:-
“No additional stand fittings or displays may be fixed to the shell scheme structure. Wall panels and other stand material will be inspected after the exhibition for signs of damage caused, for example: by nailing, drilling, wall papering, velcro, self adhesive tape etc. The cost of cleaning, repairing or replacing of damaged/misused equipment will be charged to the exhibitor”.
Regular shell scheme uses will be familiar with these (necessary) rules and many will have been frustrated by them in the past.
Some have turned to pop-ups and banners as a solution but this is a huge compromise and is not really the answer.
Shell-Clad was specifically designed to overcome the issues of applying graphics to shell schemes. It is a simple clip system that slots in and out of shell schemes, thus providing users with a smooth flat surface on which to apply their graphics.
It takes just minutes to fit (and is just as easy to remove) and it enables exhibitors to transform their shell schemes into truly striking exhibition stands.
